What to Expect - What's New?

ASTD TechKnowledge® is constantly evolving. Take a look at some of the new features we're rolling out at our 2009 conference:

Learning Technologies 101 Webinar
This workshop encompasses the many facets of technology-enabled learning that go beyond but also include e-learning as well as mobile learning, the virtual classroom, social networking, and many others. You may be newly tasked with developing or managing an e-learning project, translating your classroom skills to the online environment, or using the newest technologies to make learning available to your customers. This webinar is designed to give you an overview of the basic concepts and grounding for the many sessions you will attend throughout the conference. A glossary of terms will be provided along with other resource hand-outs. The facilitators are members of the 2009 TechKnowledge® Planning Advisory Committee and bring a wealth of experience to share with you. Come prepared to ask questions, learn, and be a resource to other learners. Segments of the workshop will be keyed to each of the five conference tracks: E-Learning Design, Emerging Technologies & Methods, Implementation and Management Strategies, Platforms and Authoring Tools, and Virtual Delivery & Facilitation. This workshop will jumpstart your conference experience.
