Twittering at ASTD TechKnowledge® 2009 Conference & Exposition

Stay up-to-date on all conference happenings. Join our ASTD TechKnowledge 2009 group on Twitter and receive and send live updates on your phone at the conference! This great interactive tool will help you make the most of your conference experience.

Signing up is free, quick, and easy. Follow these simple steps and you’ll be tweeting (Twitter’s version of text messaging) in no time.

1. Visit www.twitter.com/tk09 from your phone or computer and select “Join Today!”
2. Sign in to your existing account or create a new account
3. Start tweeting! (Include #tk09 in your tweet to be included in group messages)

Twitter Tips
There are a bunch of ways you can get involved with Twitter during this week-long event, and we encourage you to join the conversation in whatever way (and as many ways) as you feel comfortable.

- Follow @tk09 on Twitter. We'll follow you back.

- Whenever you tweet about the event, use the keyword / hashtag #tk09.

- Follow the discussion on Search.Twitter.com. If you search on the hashtag #tk09, you'll discover many ASTD TechKnowledge 2009 related conversations. It's the "Twitter backchannel."

- Direct message the TK09 Twitter account (www.twitter.com/tk09). Your message will appear to everyone. Called GroupTweet, it's a great way to communicate with everyone who is following the TK09 account. Be patient. Sometimes a GroupTweet takes a few minutes to appear. To direct message the account, type #tk09 and your message. It will show up like this:
